Christopher Kullenberg (Ph.D.) is a theorist of science at the University of Gothenburg. He is currently doing research on citizen science in the four-year project Taking Science to the Crowd. Kullenberg also has a strong interest in the development of digital methods and programming in the social sciences and humanities. He develops both software and methodologies that can widen the sources data in the context of a rapid digitalization of contemporary societies and can promote the proliferation of open data.

Moreover, he has worked on the problem of quantification in the social sciences for the past decade. His thesis The Quantification of Society concerns survey-based methodologies and he currently works on the problem of quantifying happiness.
